Computer Controlled Mattress Border Mark and Cut Machine

This computer-controlled mattress border mark and cut machine combines four important mattress border production operations into one simple procedure.

BordaMark automatically marks the mattress border for later attachment of mattress handles, marks for the venting operation, measures the material to the required length and finally cuts the finished border – all in one pre-programmed operation.

The BordaMark mattress border machine marks on the reverse edge to accommodate both horizontal and vertical handles and there is the facility to select the marking of either mattress handles or vents, or both simultaneously.

The stretch compensation factor control allows for varying degrees of stretch in the material and there is a slow-motion mode for material width adjustment procedure following size change or material changeover.

The BordaMark has a sewing speed of 3-5 metres per minute and mattress border widths up to 500mm. The stitch length can also be adjusted electronically, and the machine includes a material run-out monitoring system and extensive memory for mattress border programmes.

In terms of its cutting function, the BordaMark has a high-speed rotary knife and ergonomic sharpening mechanism, the pneumatic roller opening allows for easy loading and the enclosed cutting area comes with a safety sensor.
