The new Autotufter is a fully automated mattress tufting machine using touch screen technology and now with a multiple lace length system.

This new patented technology means this mattress tufting machine will automatically select and load the required tufting lace lengths up to 385mm for any mattress in the assembly line without any operator intervention required, eliminating RSI disorders by reducing material handling.

This innovation fully automatic mattress tufting machine also means faster cycle times, producing more than 200 tufted mattresses per 8-hour shift, and eradicating downtime for tufting lace changes.

Suitable for both tufted mattresses and futons, and with a horizontal feed suitable for all mattress spring types including pocket units, latex and futon mattresses, the versatile fully automatic mattress tufting machine can also switch between standard washers and Pom-Pom washers.

It comes with a helical avoidance system as standard, while optional extras include automatic product sizing and a video monitoring system. Continuous role feed tufts and washers are available in a full range of sizes and there are new Pom-Pom washers for high end tufted mattresses.

Other notable features of the Autotufter fully automatic mattress tufting machine include auto indexing of different lace lengths, a Velcro system for inner lace tufting, barcode reading for tuft configuration, auto stops for tuft and washer replenishment, a caddie system for varying tuft lengths, automatic pattern selection and production environment data.
